Edurio is on its way to improve education quality globally and we’re looking for great people to help us grow rapidly! Edurio works with over 3000 schools in the United Kingdom and Internationally. We collaborate with leading academics and Ministries of Education to improve the quality of education across schools. Our product helps school management make better decisions by effectively gathering feedback and visualising data.
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us reach out to potential customers and grow revenue.
Reporting to the Director of Growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be on the front lines of our sales efforts, responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) to generate new business opportunities for our Partnership Managers. In addition you will have a small revenue target to develop your sales skills and progress to Partnership manager quickly.
What your responsibilities would be:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Research and identify new target schools and MATs using various tools (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, educational directories, news articles, etc.).
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Understand the key challenges and priorities facing schools and MATs in the current educational landscape.
Outreach & Engagement:
Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone calls, LinkedIn messages, video outreach) to connect with decision-makers and key stakeholders (e.g., Headteachers, Business Managers, Curriculum Leads, IT Directors, Trust Leaders).
Craft compelling and personalised messaging that resonates with the specific needs of the education sector and the contact you’re speaking to.
Handle initial objections and effectively articulate the value proposition of our service
Qualification & Hand-off:
Conduct discovery calls to qualify leads based on BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
Identify pain points and demonstrate how our solution can address them.
Schedule qualified meetings and demonstrations for Partnership Managers.
CRM Management & Reporting:
Accurately log all sales activities, interactions, and lead information in our CRM system, HubSpot.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, email open rates, meeting booked, and conversion rates.
