Office & Community Manager
Edurio is on its way to improve education quality globally and we’re looking for great people to help us grow rapidly! Edurio works with over 3000 schools in the United Kingdom and Latvia, and our product helps school management make better decisions by effectively gathering and analysing feedback from their school communities.
We are a team of 45 people distributed across the UK and Latvia. As our Office & Community Manager, you will play an important role in keeping the whole team engaged and connected - building community across two countries and making sure people remain human and close-knit in an age where more and more of our work is shaped by AI.
Your responsibilities
Community Building
Organise regular team activities and events - both in-person and remote-friendly
Create virtual touchpoints that help the Latvia and UK sides of the team feel like one team, not two separate teams
Own the onboarding experience for new team members, making sure both in-office and remote joiners feel welcomed and set up for success from day one
Support HR tasks as needed - contributing to people and culture work wherever it is most useful
Office Maintenance & Improvement
Ensure the Riga office is well-stocked and fit for purpose - managing all purchases of supplies, equipment, and consumables
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to keep the space running smoothly and to a high standard
Proactively improve the office environment so it remains a welcoming and functional place to work
Admin
Support the team with general administrative tasks - keeping customer documentation organised (agreements, invoices), assisting with finance admin, and lending a hand wherever operational support is needed
Coordinate team travel arrangements
What we're looking for
Previous experience in HR, community building, people operations, or a similar people-facing role.
Office management experience is a plus
Strong interest in learning and using AI tools as part of everyday work
What skills you should have
Teamwork: Good collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with internal team members and external partners
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and Latvian
Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
Self-Management: The initiative and drive to work independently and achieve a lot, with loose guidance while balancing multiple projects
Community: A person who truly cares about the team they work with and thrives in community management
What we offer
Experience in a growing international company and a chance to have an impact on education quality
A feedback-based work culture which highly values transparency and team well-being
Primarily office-based, but with remote work opportunities, too
